Pollution Many products and activities which are seen within today are causing pollution from us humans. It has been quoted that “even places that are relatively untouched by 21st-century developments experience the effects of pollution. This refers to how bad the earth’s stability is on this problem. Ecosystems are contaminated from many human industrial processes which flow through the streams wit toxic chemicals and can travel over farms and result in corruption to agriculture and can even reach city skies to be covered in the smoke and chemicals from miles away. Air pollution these days is one of the biggest impacts caused from the burning of fossil fuels, in both energy plants and vehicles. These release a lot of carbon dioxide into the air resulting in climate changes from getting caught in our atmosphere. Air pollution can also result in acid rain or smog which can affect the human if exposed to. This involves the release of industrial processes which emit “particulate matter, such as sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide and other noxious gases.” Cases of exposure towards humans involve “irritation of the eyes, nose and throat and can cause upper respiratory infections, headaches, nausea and allergic reactions. Air pollution can also have an impact after longer exposures which negatively impacts on food water and ecosystems. www.worldwildlife.org/threats/pollution
